Jose Bohorquez
Chief Executive Officer, Util-LocateJose Bohorquez is the Chief Executive Officer of Util Locate, bringing over 20 years of experience managing multi-million-dollar utility locating projects for municipalities, public agencies, and private sector clients. He holds an MBA from Saint Mary's College and a BA in Business Administration from San Jose State University. Jose joined Util Locate in 2023, bringing with him 18 years of leadership experience at Bess Utility Solutions, where he rose from Field Technician to Project Manager to General Manager. During his career he led major programs including a $19M PG&E 811 locating contract overseeing a team of 42 locators, as well as Director and General Manager roles on large Caltrans and AECOM infrastructure projects across Northern California. His leadership, operational expertise, and deep background in utility locating and GPR technology now drive Util-Locate's strategic direction and continued growth.
Alfred J. Cervantes
General Manager, Util-LocateAlfred J. Cervantes is the General Manager of Util Locate, where he has helped lead the company since 2014 as General Manager, Estimator, Safety Compliance Director, and Owner. With 18 years in the utility locating industry, Alfred has overseen more than 10,000 utility locating and trenching projects for municipalities, contractors, and developers. He holds an A-General Engineering qualification for underground construction services and has built expertise across field operations, safety compliance, training, and project estimating. Before joining Util Locate, Alfred worked as a Lead Field Technician at Utiliquest and later as a Trainer and Lead Field Supervisor, gaining hands-on experience in potholing, GPR surveys, and underground utility detection. He is also a licensed Real Estate Professional and Business Acquisition Specialist, bringing additional expertise in property and growth strategy to his leadership at Util Locate. His steady leadership and technical know-how have made him a trusted figure for both private and public sector clients.
